Brazil's Olympic gymnastics squad confirmed

RIO DE JANEIRO - Daiane dos Santos and Lais Souza have secured the final two places in Brazil's Olympic gymnastics team, according to the London Organizing Committee's (Locog) official competition list.
Locog surprised Brazilian officials on Friday by naming the squad on its official website before it was released in Brazil.
Santos and Souza will join Daniele Hypolito, Bruna Leal and Adrian Gomes in the Brazilian team.
The selections mean 2008 Beijing Olympian Ethiene Franco and 14-year-old Harumi de Freitas missed out on a berth.
Brazil's gymnastics team is currently training in the English city of Ipswich, 150km northeast of London.
