From personal growth, family construction and corporate governance, to national rejuvenation and building a community of shared future for mankind, Chinese culture shone in every aspect of Bai's speech. The speech highlighted the fact that it is not the characters, but the power of unity of knowing and acting, of Chinese culture that makes the world a better place.

Everyone aspires to make contributions to this era while achieving bigger successes and leading a happy life. But what is the key to success? And what is the essence? The two-and-a-half-hour speech perfectly captured all the secrets and uplifted the spirits.

The dawn of a new business civilization in the golden age

The ZS Institute has been dedicated to applying Chinese culture to business practices since November 2012 when its learning group business format took shape, striving to change the cultural soft power to strategic hard power and thereby promote the construction of a new business civilization. After seven years of exploration, the ZS Institute released the 3.0 Corporate Solutions White Paper this year.

The institute defines 3.0 corporations as: a corporation that understands and realizes the profound truth in behavior interaction and reaction and provides unique tangible value to users while offering spiritually beneficial intangible values. In 2019, the 3.0 Corporate Solutions White Paper was released after one year of preparation, presenting systematic solutions for evergreen enterprises.

How can we build the latter to win customers' hearts, trust, and become the next king of the industry?

Representative 3.0 entrepreneurs Jin Baofang, Xu Jianhong, Yan Weiyang, Liao Jieyuan, Wu Jingjun, Tan Yiliang, Liao Liji, Jiang Nanchun, Xu Shaochun, Xu Aihua and others from the medical, education, pension and photovoltaic industries among others shared their 3.0 cases.

Jin Baofang, chairman of JA Solar under Jinglong Industry and Commerce Group, a world-leading player in the photovoltaic industry, was one of the speakers. JA Solar was once listed on the NASDAQ and returned to the A-share market in this September.

The photovoltaic industry is one with dramatic volatility. Jin, however, has managed to stay calm and at ease through the storms, by sticking to his beliefs and tenets. This veteran captain described his experience of learning Chinese culture from a young age, which helped him foster more soaring aspirations and a stronger heart.

"JA Solar of Jinglong underwent life and death experiences during its two decades of trials and tribulations, but it succeeded in maintaining steady development. By discovering ourselves and purifying our souls, I began to realize that what we have accomplished today is a result of our complete compliance with the heavenly principles and the great laws. The cultural soft power is the true source of the strategic hard power of an enterprise," he said.

"In the future, we will follow the Belt and Road and make steady strides toward a greater success. We aspire to leave our brand prints in the no man's land and illuminate every corner of the world," Jin added.

The light of the Chinese culture can also shine through the complicated healthcare reform sector in China, in which Liao Jieyuan, chairman of We Doctor Group, an online medical service platform, has deep experience.

We Doctor is the largest unicorn company globally in the medical technology industry, with its valuation reaching US$5.5 billion. Liao's original aspiration for We Doctor, his second startup, was quite simple: "to remove the difficulties for common people to see a doctor".

However, with We Doctor's deeper involvement in China's healthcare reform, he began to realize that the underlying challenge in the industry is "cultivation of the inside".

After studying Chinese culture, Liao recognized that he had to lead his team to promote healthcare reform, from promoting technologies to instilling humanist spirits, so that "benevolent physicians, caring pharmacists and relieved patients" will be the new look and new normal of the medical industry. This path is tough, but glorious, because solving major social problems means making substantial contributions.

Among the top 10 social concerns, education, apart from healthcare, is another priority area for ordinary people. An entrepreneur promised this after attending a ZS Institute workshop: “The current education problem in China is my own problem. I will strive to make every young person become a future star by building their spiritual qualities!”

The entrepreneur was Wu Jingjun, chairman of Zhongjiao Weilai (or China Prospect Education literally), who gained penetrating understanding in how to cultivate the young after he learned Chinese culture. He aspires to build a world-class talent exporting platform.

Chinese culture can not only guide youth growth, but also enlighten hearts of the old to light up their twilight years. China is an aging society, and the support for the aged is a major social concern.

Joru Group owns 30,000 beds and is a leading player in the domestic elderly care industry. Tan Yiliang, chairman of Joru Group, delivered a speech titled Inspirit, Enlighten and Warm up the Life, redefining elderly care and fully embodying the power of filial piety in Chinese culture.
