In order to pass on the handicraft, Wu has set up a cultural park themed around Song brocades, where he invites masters of the handicraft to train new hands.

He has also upgraded looms to improve productivity for his own company — Dingsheng Silk Co Ltd, located in Suzhou’s Wujiang district.
