Andrew Parsons, president of the International Paralympic Committee, said he has confidence in Beijing hosting the 2022 Paralympic Winter Games.
Parsons met with Lu Yong, vice-president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, in Pyeongchang, South Korea, on Sunday.
Lu attended the opening ceremony of the Pyeongchang Paralympic Winter Games, which will run through March 18.
"Right after the closing ceremony, it's everything about Beijing 2022," Parsons said. "We had good memories from the 2008 Summer Paralympic Games, and we are glad to be back."
Lu invited Parsons to visit Beijing later this year to give guidance and support to the preparatory work for the Beijing Paralympic Winter Games in 2022.
