Chinese telecom giant Huawei has topped the European Patent Office's 2017 patent-filing table for the first time, according to results announced in Brussels.
Huawei filed 2,398 patents last year, while Siemens and LG, who grabbed second and third place, filed 2,220 and 2,056, respectively.
