China stocks surge 4.09%

China's A-share market closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 4.09 percent to finish at 2654.88 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index gained 4.89 percent to end at 7748.82points.
The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, surged 5.20 percent to close at 1314.94 points.
