Hot on the heels of doing the voiceover for the Mandarin version of Japanese animation classic Spirited Away, actor Peng Yuchang will be on silver screen in the coming-of-age fantasy film Over Again.

The movie, directed by female director Hua Ming, who made her name with her debut Fall in Love (2013), is about three best friends.

After one youngster passes away, the remaining two attempt time travel to the past to remedy the situation.

Peng, who is followed by 6.4 million fans on China's most popular micro blog Sina Weibo, is regarded as a box-office draw for young fans in the competitive summer vacation film release calendar.

One of his posts about the trailer of the film attracted 4.35 million views on Sina Weibo.

The cast includes actress-model Gai Yuexi and actor Hou minghao.

The film is scheduled to hit domestic theaters on July 26.
