6.4-magnitude quake hits Taiwan: CENC

BEIJING - A 6.4-magnitude earthquake jolted waters off Yilan county in Taiwan at 05:28 am Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 30 km, was monitored at 24.52 degrees north latitude and 121.96 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
