Retired woman fulfills dream of travelling world's continents
"There are so many unforgettable memories for me," she said. "I have marveled at the magnificence of standing on Mountain Qomolangma; I was in awe when I watched the animals' migration across African grasslands."
In Sept 2015, He arrived at the base camp of Qomolangma at an altitude of 5,200 meters, which is considered the best location for tourists to view the mountain.
"Before arriving at the base camp, I had suffered from serious altitude sickness," she said. "After oxygen absorption, I got off the tour bus and began to walk towards the viewing platform."
She spent about half an hour getting on the platform only dozens of meters away.
"It was the hardest way that I had ever walked, but I felt so proud when I waved a five-starred red flag after reaching the destination." she said. "At that moment, I forgot my exhaustion and all the discomfort."
