England to face Austria, Romania in warm-up games for Euro 2020
England will play against Austria and Romania next June as their warm-up games ahead of the UEFA Euro 2020, the FA announced on Tuesday.
England will travel to Vienna to meet Austria on June 2 next year before hosting Romania on June 7. Earlier, the Three Lions have booked their match against Denmark on March 31 at Wembley. The FA also said that they will confirm England's opponents later for a game to be held on March 27.
England are placed in Group D of Euro 2020 together with Croatia, Czech Republic as well as the winners of the play-off path featuring Scotland, Israel, Norway and Serbia. They will play all their three group stage matches at Wembley with the opening fixture on June 14 against Croatia.
The tournament will take place from June 12 to July 12 in 12 cities in Europe. Besides the Group D matches, London will also host a round 16 match, two semifinals and the final.
