Other installments include Olympic medalist Chen Lu's nostalgic journey to a ski resort, singer Wang Ju's visit to Yangzhou to meet an artist specializing in ronghua (ancient women's adornments made of dyed cocoon threads), and ethnic Mongolian singer Ayanga flying kites with picture book author Xiong Liang.
"Every term has several special things you can do. It makes our life more ceremonial. We hope the show can enlighten youngsters and also display Chinese culture in a way that can attract an overseas audience," says Liu.
