Warehouse storage recovers in May

China's warehouse storage sector expanded slightly in May amid the gradual recovery of market demand, industrial data showed. The index tracking the sector's development rose by 0.1 percentage point on a monthly basis to 50.4 percent in May, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.

Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region gets funding

The China Development Bank, one of the country's policy banks, will provide 550 billion yuan ($77.46 billion) in financing to support the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. Of the total financing amount, 520 billion yuan will be loans denominated in yuan and foreign currencies, the bank said.
