Nansha has signed a series of projects during the event.

One key project is in cooperation with Fosun Group, an innovation-driven consumer group. It provides high-quality products and services for families around the world.

The project will focus on cutting-edge technology and medical services, constructing an integrated platform for industry, education and research, and introducing first-class medical services and research institutes in the field of life sciences.

Other projects are mainly engaged in the industrial chain of the new energy vehicle industry. This includes the Guangzhou Haifeng new factory; Guangzhou Jixing Nansha new factory; production base of the East Asia Automobile Basic Parts; and the pilot zone project of the Smart Transportation Industrial Park.

The Haifeng new factory project is the key training target of GAC Toyota. It is to mainly produce IP brackets, engine peripheral brackets, chassis suspension parts and other products. Production is planned to start in 2022 and reach peak production in 2025.

The Jixing Nansha new plant project is to mainly produce sets of automotive acoustic components such as roofs, sound insulation pads, trunk covers, and supplies interior and exterior trim products for all models produced by GAC Toyota.

It is planned to start production in 2022 and reach peak production in 2025.

The production base of the East Asia Automobile Basic Parts is to build an assembly line for the core components of vehicles such as bumpers, instrument panels, tailgates and exterior parts.

It is the closest supplier to the 13 component suppliers proposed by GAC Toyota.

It is planned to start production in 2021 and reach peak production in 2024, with a production capacity of 789,000 units per year, and an output value of 1.45 billion yuan ($211.4 million).
