Student theater festival names 10 winning scripts

Ten theatrical scripts have been named the winners of the 2020 Golden Hedgehog College Theater Festival, an annual student theater festival launched in 2001, as announced by the committee of the festival on Dec 9.
Winners include Paradise by College of Humanities of Guangzhou University, Father's Puppet Show by Communication University of China, Nanjing, and Xiucai and His Wife by the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts.
Joining in the project as judges were theater veterans, including Yang Qianwu, the secretary-general of the Beijing Theaters Association; director Lin Yinyu; and Song Baozhen, director of the theater research center of the China National Academy of Arts.
