Mass testing in Beijing's Shunyi district reveals no new cases

Beijing's Shunyi district, where the city's new local COVID-19 patients live, has collected 1,288,200 nucleic acid test samples, among which 1,236,800 have so far been confirmed as negative as of 6 am Tuesday morning, according to the district's office of COVID-19 prevention and control work leading group.
Beijing reported seven locally transmitted COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, all confirmed in the Shunyi district.
The office said the new cases are all close contacts of previously reported cases. And they had already been under centralized quarantine before they were confirmed on Monday.
The district has set up 370 points for collecting test samples.
