Sunac Culture, the cultural business subsidiary of Sunac Holdings Group, is looking to become an intellectual property provider to offer better content in culture and tourism consumption, according to its president Sun Zheyi.

"Sunac Culture aims to be a firm industrial investor and a professional operator. The company is committed to creating IP in all categories and the entire industry chains for all age groups, so as to expand the industrial value of IP," said Sun, who is also executive director of Sunac Holdings Group.

"IP, content, new consumption scenarios will be the company's next business focus," said Sun. "IP is the foundation, content is the amplifier, and new consumption scenarios will pave the way for further commercial value expansion."

As of now, Sunac Holdings Group operates 13 cultural tourism towns, 5 tourist resorts, 9 conference and exhibition centers, and 22 theme parks.

Sunac Culture has completed the investment and in-depth strategic cooperation in film and television companies established by renowned directors including Guo Fan, Yang Xiaopei, Chen Guohui, Rao Xiaozhi, Zheng Lin, and Gao Boyang.

Ma Boyong, a best-selling novelist, also announced the cooperation with Sunac Culture to develop a literary IP, which will be developed further for animated dramas, live-action dramas and animated movies.
