Meng Wanzhou, the chief financial officer of Huawei who was illegally taken into custody by the Canadian Police, took the path of coming back to China by taking a chartered airplane offered by the Chinese government on Friday local time and can reunite with her family on National Day in China. This is truly exciting and joyful news for all Chinese people.

It cannot be denied that the whole process from being apprehended and taken into custody illegally to come back to the bosom of the motherland safe and sound was not easy and even heart-rending.

For the Chinese people, we are indignant with the unwarranted charge and apparent conspiracy from the side that embraces an ulterior motive, and we didn't have any effective methods to change the situation at that time, which seemed that we had to swallow the insult and humiliation silently.

Hence, it is difficult to imagine how helpless and terrified Meng Wanzhou was at that time, treated with illegal surveillance in the foreign country. More outrageously, an electronic bracelet was put on her ankle.

With the rapid elapse of time, all things in the world change all the time, exhibiting the phenomenon of "you just finished and I come on the scene". In this way, it is lucky and blessed for us who enjoy the identity of Chinese people because our motherland makes every effort to improve herself, coming quite a way in the stream of history and gradually moving towards prosperity and great rejuvenation.

As Meng Wanzhou said in her speech, "I want to thank for the approval and help of my motherland and my compatriots, which are the biggest support for encouraging me to persist to this day". This is impressive and moving because only the Chinese people know that it is tiring, tough and difficult to walk all the way here.

In the 1960s, the general officer Liu Huaqing, the father of the Chinese aircraft carrier, can only watch the advanced weapons and equipment produced by other countries standing on tiptoe from a great distance because of the backward manufacturing technology of our country. Every time I see this picture of General Liu, sad emotion rises in my mind. However, at present, in China, the submarine dives into the deep sea, the aircraft carriers take their place in the ranks, and the facilities designed and manufactured at the initiative in our own hands have become the existence of being complimented and used for reference by other countries.

Wang Wei, a pilot serving in the Navy Air Force of China's People's Liberation Army (PLA), was presumed dead 20 years ago after going missing following a midair collision between a US surveillance plane and a Chinese fighter jet. His body has never been found, but he was engraved on the mind of all Chinese people, living forever in the hearts of us. Delightfully, with unremitting efforts and dauntless perseverance, China has embraced the strong capability of safeguarding her territory, territorial air space, and territorial waters more consistently, which is enough to be used for consoling the martyrs who passed away for the sovereignty and security of China and its people.

All of these show that our country is becoming increasingly powerful. At the same time, great Chinese people keep in monolithic solidarity, move forward with perseverance and efforts, and strive to become stronger constantly all the time during the process from being on the brink of ruin, receiving nirvana and rebirth, getting better to move towards the prosperity of China.

Clearly, the joy and pride towards Meng Wanzhou coming back to the homeland can be shown by the No.1 top search of Weibo, and the confidence, easy assurance and dignity of the Chinese people can be exhibited by her incisively and vividly.

Today, we are delighted that Meng Wanzhou can come back to the bosom of China. Being taken into custody for three years witnesses her steadiness, the Chinese people's expectation and the state's power. We believe that everything in the world is conservative and as the minister of Chinese Foreign Ministry Wang Yi said, history will prove who is a mere visitor and who is the real host.
