Monarch Platform, the first FDA-cleared robotic platform for diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic procedures, was another one of the major products introduced by J&J at this year's CIIE, and was also the debut of the product outside the United States. J&J said the platform is the first of its kind for bronchial diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. It applies the world's first endoscope three-in-one navigation technology. Without an incision, the endoscope can reach the nodules in the deep periphery of the lungs through the bronchus and extract tissues for biopsy.
