CBA playoffs to start on April 1

BEIJING -- The 2021-22 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) playoffs will be held in Nanchang in east China's Jiangxi province from April 1, the league's governing body revealed in a statement on Tuesday.
Tuesday marks the closing day of the CBA regular season, which featured 38 rounds of action, with the Liaoning Flying Leopards topping the 20-team standings with a win-loss record of 32-6.
The statement added that other details of the playoffs will be announced in due course.
The top four finishers in the CBA regular season will advance directly to the quarterfinals of the playoffs, while teams placed from fifth to 12th will contend for the remaining four quarterfinal spots.
