Huawei Technologies Co said on Friday that it recorded 301.6 billion yuan ($44.8 billion) in revenue in the first half of 2022, with a net profit margin of 5.0 percent.

That means its first-half revenue fell around 5.9 percent from a year ago, as the Chinese tech company continues to battle the US government restrictions.

Huawei's carrier business group contributed 142.7 billion yuan, its enterprise business group 54.7 billion yuan, and its device business group 101.3 billion yuan, the company said.

Hu Houkun, rotating chairman of Huawei, said "While our device business was heavily impacted, our information communications technology infrastructure business maintained steady growth."

"Moving forward, we will harness trends in digitalization and de-carbonization to keep creating value for our customers and partners, and secure quality development," Hu said.
