China's ambassador to the United Kingdom, Zheng Zeguang, led an embassy delegation on Thursday on a study tour of COSCO Shipping Logistics UK, and of London Gateway.

Zheng spoke highly of the rapid development of COSCO Shipping Logistics UK and of London Gateway port, and expressed support for their long-term cooperation.

He pointed out that the steady growth of the Chinese economy has injected positive energy and impetus into the world economy in the face of downward pressures on the global economy, including high inflation and limited energy and food supplies.
