China sees increase in domestic tourism during the Mid-Autumn Festival

China saw 73.41 million domestic tourist visits during the three-day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from Sept 10 to 12, with the tourism revenue reaching 28.68 billion yuan ($4.14 billion), according to data from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
China Tourism Academy predicted that the domestic tourist visits will hit 3.98 billion to realize 3.81 trillion yuan in the tourism revenue this year, and see an increase of 19 percent and 27 percent from a year earlier, respectively.
