China's development and achievements in poverty alleviation in the past decade is impressive, and good China-U.S. cooperation is important for everyone, said Jeffrey Greene, executive director of the Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation. Greene said China has not only made great contributions to the cause of global poverty reduction, but also provided much assistance to third world countries. In addition, China has actively participated to safeguard world peace and promoted common development, fully demonstrating the responsibility of a major country.
