"The project team overcame countless difficulties during two years of construction, and used environmentally-friendly methods so as to complete the project safely and efficiently with high quality," said Guo Wei, president of POWER CHINA Guizhou Engineering Co.
To build this giant station, the company made a detailed migration plan for shrubs, lizards, snakes and other native animals and plants to find new homes.
They strove to minimize the impact on the local ecological environment and establish an energy and resource conservation and recycling mechanism during construction.
