President Xi Jinping's state visit to Russia from Monday to Wednesday has drawn international attention because it comes just after the first anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

China-Russia friendship is the locomotive for the development of a multipolar world, and is the key to global strategic balance and stability, which does not contain any disturbing nuances; on the contrary, it serves to strengthen global peace and stability.

China is a kind of stabilizer of the region. China has never created military alliances and has not entered into any other military blocs, the country is a member of many international organizations of an exclusively economic or humanitarian nature. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Beijing has been striving to build equal, mutually beneficial and prosperous relations with all countries. Russia is no exception. Beijing's relations with Moscow are also built on these principles.

Xi's visit to Moscow is aimed at improving the international atmosphere and smoothing over the sharpest corners of the global agenda. China-Russia relations do not pursue the goals of confrontation and are not directed against any third party. Beijing and Moscow are not creating any power alliance, while cooperation between the two countries will make it possible to promote a multipolar world, to ensure multilateral approaches on the world stage and more democratic international relations.

China, together with Russia, is paving the way for a multipolar world. Here it is important to recall the principles for settling the Ukrainian crisis proposed by the China. China can play a constructive role in ending the Russian-Ukrainian war and become a mediator in the reconciliation of the parties. Actually, Beijing already has had a similar experience. Take the reconciliation between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Two irreconcilable opponents, who had been in sharp confrontation for almost ten years but, after the involvement of the Chinese side, agreed to restore diplomatic relations and return to cooperation.

China has always been and remains a supporter of peace negotiations in crisis situations. Dialogue is the only thing that can solve the problem, according to Beijing. And unilateral pressure and sanctions are counterproductive and only complicate and confuse the path to achieving peace. From this point of view, Xi Jinping's visit to Moscow is of particular importance.

China and Russia are successfully interacting within the framework of the UN Security Council, the G20 and other global and regional structures. This interaction has played a positive role in solving the Korean, Afghan problems, as well as the Iranian nuclear problem.That is, China-Russia relations only benefit the interests of peace and stability.

Russia and China have a common goal to achieve amore just multipolar world order. The West must recognize and accept the fact that multipolarity, economic globalization and the democratization of international relations are an inevitable factor.

Today, Moscow and Beijing are implementing real practical steps in multipolarity and are active supporters of the formation of international relations of a new type. In the new system of international relations there is no place for wars, confrontation, hegemony or cold wars, but only for peace and stability. Under the strategic leadership of the two countries, the world will change for the better as bilateral relations continue to develop and rise to new heights.
