The local factories' land-based closed-loop aquaculture area has reached 47,000 square meters, with a total of 45,000 cubic meters of aquaculture water and an annual output of up to 2,000 metric tons.

Kunmao Aquaculture Base, known as one of the largest freshwater perch aquaculture bases in the north of the Yangtze River, has been making effort to reduce pollution and waste throughout the production process, so as to realize high-density aquaculture and water resource conservation.

State Grid Jining Power Supply Company has been exploring new models of service for factory-style aquaculture. It upgraded the power grid and improved the reliability of the power grid operation in a bid to provide full-capacity electricity for factory-style aquaculture.
