2023 marks the first time the Zigong lantern festival will be exhibited in Hungary. The lantern exhibition features nearly 2 kilometers of illuminated pathways and 40 sets of diverse lanterns, including giant lanterns, crafted lanterns, decorative lanterns and themed lantern sets inspired by traditional Chinese folklore, classical literature and mythical stories. Various animal-shaped lanterns will showcase exceptional artistic charm to visitors.

Throughout the lantern festival, there will be a series of Chinese cultural experiences, including a lighting ceremony, a traditional Hanfu parade and a creative New Year painting exhibition. The event will also illuminate the Global Auspicious Dragon Lantern for the "Happy Chinese New Year" program, and limited-edition lanterns will be available for purchase.
