Singapore Airlines confirmed that 131 passengers and 12 crew members who were on board SQ321 arrived in Singapore via a relief flight early Wednesday morning.

But one passenger holding British passport who was on board SQ321 died from an emergency landing of at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok Tuesday afternoon, according to the airlines. No passengers of Chinese nationality were reported yet.

Those 131 passengers and 12 crew members already back via the relief fight were received upon their arrival at Singapore Changi Airport soon 05:05 am by Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Airlines Goh Choon Phong.

Transportation to their homes or hotel accommodation has been arranged for passengers travelling to Singapore. For those with onward connections, SIA had rebooked them on alternative flights. Hotel accommodation or lounge access have also been arranged for those passengers to rest until their next flight.

As of Wednesday morning, 79 other passengers and six crew members from SQ321 remain in Bangkok. This includes those receiving medical care.

Earlier, local Thai PBS reported that many of the remaining passengers suffer injuries and are hospitalized.

The airlines said there were a total of 211 passengers and 18 crew on board SQ321.

The nationalities of the passengers are as follows: 56 from Australia, two from Canada, one from Germany, three from India, two from Indonesia, one from Iceland, four from Ireland, one from Israel, 16 from Malaysia, two from Myanmar, 23 from New Zealand, five from the Philippines, 41 from Singapore, one from South Korea, two from Spain, 47 from the United Kingdom, and four from the United States of America.

SIA has sent a professional team from Singapore to Bangkok to further assistance.

Goh Choon Phong, CEO of SIA, released a video message on social media Wednesday, expressed deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased passenger.

"We are providing all possible assistance and support to them, along with their families and loved ones, during this difficult time. The well-being of our passengers and staff is our utmost priority," he said.
