Playing a friendly match of ice hockey with China's national women's team alongside Her Majesty the Queen on the same line felt surreal and seeing the Queen score was an unforgettable moment.

I first learned about the China-Thailand Ice Hockey Friendly Match from the adults around me midway through the year, and during a September meeting called by the Thailand Ice Hockey Association to confirm the event. The idea of competing against the Chinese national team felt both thrilling and slightly intimidating, given their strong reputation and experience in international ice hockey. The event seemed to blend sports with diplomacy, and I felt honored to be part of something that could leave an impact beyond the rink. I also anticipated performing well, knowing that the match could showcase and promote the growth of ice hockey in Thailand.

I've had the privilege of participating in many tournaments in China, and on some occasions, I even had the opportunity to play for Chinese teams. One of the most memorable experiences was the Asian Junior Women's Ice Hockey Tournament held in 2020 in Shenzhen, where I played for the Chinese team, Kunlun Redstar. We ended up winning the tournament, which was an exhilarating achievement. I also had the chance to watch a professional women's league match — an experience that broadened my understanding of high-level hockey and further fueled my passion for the sport. The friendships I made during that tournament remain especially meaningful. Some of my former teammates from that event have since advanced to represent China on the national stage. Knowing that I once shared the ice with them adds a personal dimension to the upcoming friendly match.

These experiences in China have given me a deep appreciation for the country's dedication to developing athletes and fostering connections through sport.
