In the booming Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the first international luxury hotel in Shenzhen's Longhua district in Guangdong province aims to boost cultural exchanges in the GBA.

By attracting visitors from home and abroad, the Fashion Town Hotel Shenzhen MGallery Collection, which opened on Dec 28, 2024, is designed to promote communication and cooperation in fashion and culture by hosting a variety of art exhibitions and cultural events.

Mr Li, a guest staying at the hotel but declining to give his full name, said adjacent to Shenzhen North Station, the hotel can let travelers take a high-speed train to Hong Kong and Guangzhou (in 30 minutes), and to Dongguan and Huizhou (in 60 minutes).

Meanwhile, the hotel also provides easy access to shopping at Dalang Commercial Center and Uniworld, trips to Eachway Museum and the Shenzhen Art Museum (new venue), or leisurely strolls in the Yangtai Mountain Park, he said.

Fang Dongming, hotel owner and chairman of Shenzhen Longhua Construction Development Co, said in his speech at the opening ceremony that the hotel will be a local magnet, contributing to Dalang's journey to becoming an international fashion town.

Fang noted: "We will pay attention to detail, provide personalized service, ensuring comfort and convenience for every guest."

It has been learned that the MGallery Collection has brought together more than 120 luxury boutique hotels worldwide, with each one offering an authentic, distinctive and memorable story, while the MGallery Shenzhen is setting a new industry benchmark with its distinctive design, refined aesthetics, and seamless integration of the unique local cultures.
