The State Grid Tangyin County Power Supply Company sent staff members from Yigou Power Supply Station on Jan 9 to provide on-site electrical safety inspection services for migrant workers returning home for Chinese New Year.

With the approach of the end of the year, the number of people returning home from work has increased. In order to ensure the safe and reliable use of electricity for these returnees, the company took the initiative to organize safety inspections at various power supply stations, to ensure the safety and quality of electricity use.

Leveraging the advantage of grid-based services and the "village network co-construction" platform, the company coordinated with village committees and communities to understand the return time of migrant workers. They then distributed convenient service cards to households, promoted knowledge of safe electricity use, and promoted the use of online service channels to inspect the electricity lines and equipment of returning migrant workers.

Each of the company's business halls opened a "green channel" for electricity use by returning migrant workers, addressing needs such as business applications for electricity installation and temporary electricity use. The aim was to optimize the electricity service process and improve service efficiency. By using WeChat, the company sent a "Letter to Returning Migrant Workers" and reminders on electricity usage recovery. Such efforts have enhanced the convenience of electricity service for them, ensuring that they can use electricity as soon as they return home.
