Bernard Ngotho, deputy director for youth innovations and talent development at the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports, described the program as "a cultural bridge, a dialogue of creativity, and a celebration of Africa's youthful rhythm and spirit."

He said the show would enable young artists to access global audiences, cross-cultural mentorship, and career-defining exposure.

"At the State Department for Youth Affairs and the Creative Economy, we believe that when we invest in creativity, we are not just nurturing art — we are nurturing enterprise," Ngotho said.

"Every lyric written, every costume designed, every digital video produced represents a potential business, a livelihood, and a contribution to Kenya's GDP. Programs like "Sing For Africa" reflect the same vision: to convert creativity into economic opportunity, and to empower young people as innovators and entrepreneurs."

Violetta Ngina, senior TV producer at Royal Media Services, lauded China's global reputation in content creation – from full-length films and dramas to documentaries, digital shorts, and reality shows – describing the country as "a force to reckon with in creation of stories that resonate with all colors of global audience."

"International co-productions have become a cornerstone in the development of the film industry worldwide," she said. "We are therefore excited to harness the benefits of this partnership."

David Munyua, the CEO of Art Big Gallary Co Ltd, described the show as a bridge connecting Kenyan youth to the world.

"This show is a proof that with a microphone, a vision, and the courage to sing, you can go from a Nairobi street corner to an international stage," he said.
