Expressway service area featuring a natural hot spring to open soon in Guangdong
An expressway service area featuring a natural hot spring in Guangdong province is expected to open to the public at the end of December, according to local transportation authorities.
Natural hot springs have been innovatively introduced into the area, which is located in Longmen county of Huizhou, Guangdong, widely known as the hometown of hot springs in China.
Located along an expressway section between the counties of Xinfeng and Boluo in Guangdong, it will become the first hot spring-themed service area across the province.
The service area features a free countryside hand and foot spa area and has created private hot spring packages that integrate accommodation and dining services.
Drivers and travelers can choose to relax in the outdoor scenic pools or book a private service package to enjoy leisure time and wash away the fatigue of their journey, the Guangdong Transportation Group said.
