China Eastern Airlines receives world's first C919 simulator

The world's first C919 simulator designed for airline use was delivered to China Eastern Airlines and put into operation on Dec 19, marking a key step in strengthening the carrier's operational support capability for domestically built aircraft. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

Since the C919's maiden commercial flight on May 28, 2023, China Eastern's fleet has completed more than 40,000 hours of safe operations and carried over 2.45 million passenger trips as of December. The carrier has trained more than 160 C919 pilots and completed over 10,000 hours of flight training.
