Spring Festival concert in London bridges cultures

Students from the United Kingdom and China performed a charity concert in London on Friday in celebration of Chinese New Year.
The concert at Mansion House, the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London, drew guests from the political and business communities of both nations.
Throughout the two-hour performance, more than 20 students from the Yehudi Menuhin School in the UK and the Yehudi Menuhin School in Qingdao, China stood side by side on stage, presenting more than 10 celebrated masterpieces from China and the West. The program featured the beloved Chinese folk song Jasmine Flower, the lyrical Andante Cantabile by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and Elisabetta by Mauro Giuliani.
