Dimitri de Boer, director for China at ClientEarth, has witnessed profound changes in China's urban landscapes and ecological governance over the past two decades, especially remarkable improvements in air quality.
He attributed this progress to China's distinctive environmental governance system, particularly the public interest litigation system. Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan period, he expressed hope to deepen cooperation with Chinese procuratorial authorities in areas such as green transition, marine protection, control of new pollutants and green finance.
