French vloggers explore highland scenery and Tibetan culture in Yunnan
Recently, French travel vloggers Nicolas and Mathilde journeyed to Shangri-La in Yunnan province, where they immersed themselves in the stunning highland scenery, Tibetan culture, and unique lifestyle.
In Shangri-La, the couple had their first taste of the savory Tibetan butter tea and tried the local noodles, falling in love with the distinctive flavors.
The enormous prayer wheel in the city left a lasting impression on them. Watching visitors from various countries and ethnic backgrounds come together to turn the wheel gave them a genuine sense of unity and warmth, according to the couple.
Nicolas and Mathilde visited the intangible cultural heritage experience center in Dukezong Ancient Town of Shangri-La and tried their hand at painting Thangka. They were captivated by the vibrant colors, intricate brushwork, and rich Tibetan cultural heritage, which deepened their appreciation for the Eastern aesthetics and local history embedded in this intangible heritage.
Nicolas and Mathilde were impressed by Yunnan's rich tapestry of ethnic cultures. The diverse groups, such as the Tibetan and Naxi, each boast their own unique clothing, languages, and customs, offering a continuous sense of novelty and fascination.
They said that Shangri-La possesses breathtaking natural landscapes alongside a rich history and heritage. Every scene they witnessed and every person they met made their journey truly unforgettable.
