Chen Xingdong, deputy director-general of the Sichuan Provincial Sports Bureau, said the event recognizes Meishan's event-hosting capabilities and reputation as a fashionable sports city. "We look forward to leveraging this event as an opportunity to deepen sports exchanges and cooperation across Asia and to jointly promote the high-quality development of skateboarding," Chen added.
The event's venue, the Meishan International Roller Skating and Skateboarding Center, features an international-standard vertical-difference bowl, a street course with obstacles, and a 3,000-seat grandstand, making it a premier venue for skateboarding competitions in China.
