As of June 30, 2006, consolidated total assets and total equity of the Group
were 358,718 million and RMB 38,104 million yuan respectively. The market value
of the Group reached
HKD150 billion on July 20, 2006 and the Group has
attained the status of a large,
international insurance
enterprise.
