IT: Telecom sale eyed(Shanghai Daily)Updated: 2007-01-10 17:05 China Netcom Group Corp (Hong Kong) Ltd, China's second-biggest fixed-line operator, plans to sell its business in Guangdong and Shanghai to its parent company, the company said yesterday in a public statement. The sale aims to improve the use of internal resources as China Netcom's major business is in the northern part of China, industry insiders said.
