Anbang Insurance sales agents to enjoy employee benefitsBy Su Yue (chinadaily.com.cn)Updated: 2007-02-07 09:15 Anbang Property & Casualty Insurance Co Ltd will launch labor contract system reform during the first half of this year for its sales agents, who will be treated as regular staff and will enjoy employee benefits. Anbang Insurance is the first domestic property and casualty insurance firm to start such reforms. The inclusion of sales agents as regular staff is expected to stabilize the sales team, which is conducive to providing high-quality follow-up services over a long period of time for customers. However, it is a tremendous task to include thousands of sales agents into the company's regular employee headcount, said Tu Jincheng, spokesman of Anbang Insurance. As a result, the trial phase starting from the first quarter of 2007 will involve certain criteria and only qualified sales agents will be eligible for regular employee positions. ...
