BEIJING -- Chinese stocks closed slightly higher on Monday, as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.03 percent, or 0.68 points, to close at 2,226.11.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 9,566.45, up 0.70 percent, or 66.13 points.
