Bank of China Co Ltd has opened its 11th branch in Montreal, Canada.

The branch, located on Sherbrooke Street in downtown Montreal, offers services in Canadian dollar and US dollar accounts, as well as currency exchange, syndicated loans, commercial mortgage loans, project financing, international settlement and trade financing. It also has cross-border renminbi settlement service.

Founded in 1993, Bank of China (Canada) Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of BOC. The company took the initiative to offer renminbi services in Canada to promote economic exchanges between the two countries.
