Country grapples with runaway property prices

According to Henri Alster, president of Global Real Estate Institute, if real estate investment in China were an Olympic event, it would certainly not be as simple and straightforward as a 100-m sprint.

"Perhaps the 3,000 m steeplechase is more appropriate, grueling, with lots of different obstacles, but all worthwhile if you are going for gold," he said.
