No 9 Singapore
Singapore moves up one spot in the index to ninth this year, due to its predictable regulations, a relatively low corporate tax rate and an ample supply of qualified workers, according to A. T. Kearney.
The consultancy company predicts that Singapore, which is a favorite regional headquarters and R&D center, is expecting expansions from GlaxoSmithKline, Procter & Gamble and Nestle.
