?Top 10 underwriters in 2012 [Data from Thomson Reuters]

After a 5-month suspension, A share underwriters in China have started to prepare for the upcoming IPO reopening. After disappointing performances in the A share market in 2012, underwriters in China are ready for some action. According to data from Thomson Reuters, Gousen Securities Co Ltd was the top underwriter last year, with an underwriting amount of $2.7975 billion, closely followed by CITIC with $2.745 billion.

The A share market is expected to gain more momentum in 2013. According to Price Waterhouse Coopers, there will be 200 IPOs in the A share market with a transaction value of $24.135 billion. Brokerage firms can expect better performances in the A share IPO market.
