Meanwhile, McCartney himself, as told by a source close to him, is not afraid at all to face a public hearing and is very determined to fight to save his reputation. "He will go all the way with this if need be, so the source said. "He has nothing to be afraid of. But he will maintain a dignified silence for the moment."
Mills alleged in her divorce papers that McCartney had done some assaults on her during their four-years marriage, including stabbing her in the arm with a broken wine glass, grabbing her by the neck, and pushing her over a coffee table.
On the other hand, McCartney's aides claimed it was Mills who actually had been violent during their marriage years, saying staff at their estate had witnessed clashes between the couple.
In related news, Mills has also been reported to have a plan of unveiling all about the allegations surrounding the battle on a live TV interview, facing intense one-on-one questioning from either American chat show host Larry King or British anchorman Sir Trevor McDonald.
However, a spokesperson for "Tonight With Trevor McDonald" refused to confirm or deny the impending interview. "We cannot comment on or confirm this." so the person said. "We are the kind of show which does attract big interviews like this and there has been talk of her going on the show since the break-up happened in May."
