American actress and mom-to-be Jessica Alba has developed a taste for French ham and cheese sandwiches and has been gorging on them while on her trip to Paris. The pregnant celebrity has been making European press rounds for her movie "The Eye" and had recently done some antiquing in the City of Light.

Jotted down in her MySpace blog on March 4 that she "can't wait to get home and rest", she furthermore has revealed to have been having food cravings while abroad. She claimed on her blog that she's addicted to French ham and cheese sandwiches.

"Every day I have eaten ham and cheese sandwiches, I can't get enough of them," Alba wrote. "Wish they had these back in the states, the bread is amazing. My tummy is getting bigger by the second and the little one must like the food too because it is moving and kicking like crazy. "

What's more Alba also stated that she is ready to return back home after the whirlwind trip, which included some sightseeing and an Amy Winehouse concert.

"Last trip!Went to the Lanvan show and the Rodin museum in Paris...amazing. Also saw Amy Whinehouse perform. She has such an incredible voice. She's definitely a throwback...reminiscent of Ella. I am currently getting my makeup done to go to the premiere of my movie. Can't wait to get home and rest," she concluded.

Report on Alba's pregnancy first arose December last year. A representative for her issued an official confirmation soon thereafter, told People "I can confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer." Following the good news, it was then confirmed that the actress and boyfriend Cash Warren "are engaged."

While early report suggested that Alba was due on June 8 later this year, the expectant celebrity has revealed on the red carpet Oscars on February 24 that she recently entered her third trimester and thus is due to give birth around May and or June.
