Edmund Ho Hau Wah, chief executive of China's Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR), met with Daniel Glazer, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury here on Saturday.

Both sides exchanged views on the latest development of the incident of the Banco Delta Asia (BDA), a Macao-based bank.

The MSAR government reiterated its concern and regret over the decision made by the U.S. Department of the Treasury in regards to the BDA.

Both sides also agreed that mutual dialogue and cooperation should be strengthened in the process of dealing with the bank accounts of the Democratic People's Republic of Korean (DPRK) so as to come up with a satisfactory solution.

The delegation headed by Glazer also visited the Monetary Authority of Macao, and provided information in regards to the DPRK accounts.

The U.S. delegation started its Macao visit early Saturday.
