[Xinhua] The following is a biographical sketch of Zheng Wantong, who was elected vice-chairman of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC): Zheng Wantong Male, born in May 1941, of Han nationality, native of Tianjin Municipality. Worked at the May 7 Cadre School of Hebei district of Tianjin in 1968-1970. Cadre and deputy director of the publicity department of CPC Hebei district committee in Tianjin in 1970-1978. Cadre of the general office of CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee and assistant to the first secretary of the CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee in 1978-1982.
